Las Vegas Traditional Japanese Restaurant - Las Vegas Traditional Japanese Food

Las Vegas traditional Japanese food - the authentic Japanese way, everyday at Miko's Sushi Restaurant

Japanese cuisine is in itself a form of art. Traditional Japanese food is prepared with meticulous care, in flavor, color and form. Many people mistake Japanese cooking as effortless but those who have seen a Japanese chef at his forte know for sure that traditional Japanese cooking goes beyond mere taste. The presentation is equally important, and so is the seasonality of the dishes. The ingredients need to be fresh so that they retain all the natural flavors. If you are looking for authentic and traditional Japanese food in Las Vegas, then you have come to the right place.

Japanese food can be summed up into three basic elements, each with five sub-elements. The first element is flavor to which belong sweet, sour, spicy, salty and bitter. The second element is color: white, yellow, red, green and black. Last but not least is the element of preparation which is identified as raw, boiled, grilled, steamed and deep-fried. As a Las Vegas Japanese restaurant, Miko’s strive to encompass all elements of traditional Japanese food preparation, bringing the genuine taste of Japan right in the heart of America.

Today, finding traditional Japanese food in Las Vegas is no longer a feat, thanks to Miko’s Sushi Restaurant. When you’re in town, try our delicious Turkey Gyoza, an original recipe by owner Miko. Gyoza is known to be a Potsticker, a dumpling that have been steamed on one side and pan-fried on the other.  We also recommend the Tonkatsu and Beef Teriyaki, both standard Japanese favorites. Tonkatsu is essentially made from succulent pork cutlets that are also deep fried. For the noodle lovers, we are pleased to offer our different Ramen specialties: authentic Shoyu Ramen, Tonkotsu Ramen and Miso Ramen served hot on the bowl.
